Learn The New Testament
It is important to learn the New Testament for several reasons. The New Testament is the authoritative source for all matters of faith and practice for Christians. The 4 Gospels recount the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord. The book of Acts details the history of the early Church and the spread of the Gospel after Jesus’ ascension and focuses on the ministries of key figures like Peter, Paul, and Barnabas. The letters written by the Apostle Paul provide guidance on doctrine, conduct, and faith. The letters written by James, Peter, John and Jude give general instructions and encouragement to believers. And the book of Revelation contains the 7 letters from Jesus to the 7 churches and details of the end times and how God wins in the end. We are on the winning side. Every Christian needs to learn the New Testament. Without being fed by the word Christians will become anemic. We need the strength and encouragement that comes from Bible Study. All of these lessons are written to be concise and each can be read in a few minutes. Teaching should be clear and straight forward and come from the Bible and not outside sources. I pray that these simple lessons will be a blessing to you.
