Lessons From Colossians

Lessons From Colossians

There are many lessons to be learned from the book of Colossians.  False teachers were causing trouble and so Epaphras took a trip to find Paul and Paul wrote a letter to the church at Colossae to address the false teaching.  It is interesting that Paul did not start the letter off with addressing the false teaching.  He first gives them assurance of their salvation and Paul teaches on Jesus.  Paul shows them things about Jesus and also shows them that he wants their best.  Paul shows his care for them in this letter and then deals with the false teaching.
