Lessons From 1 Thessalonians
Paul met the Thessalonians early on the 2nd missionary journey. And the town was so hostile that Paul had to make a run for it and got separated from Silas. Paul then stopped for a fairly short visit on the beginning of the 3rd missionary journey. So there was great need for them to have more teaching. And they were living in a hostile town to the Gospel and the truths in these letters are very helpful to any Christian living with persecution.
