The Lord’s Supper
Before Jesus went to the cross and after He ate the Passover meal with His disciples He instituted what is called the Lord’s Supper. It is very simple and straight forward. And at the same time it is full of meaning and teaching and purpose. It is both simple and profound at the same time. If understood correctly according to the Bible, then the Lord’s Supper can have a great impact upon a local church. The sad thing is that many do not understand the Lord’s Supper and it is often observed wrong and some corrupt it so much that they actually turned it into something else altogether.
