Lessons From 2 Thessalonians

Paul met the Thessalonians early on the 2nd missionary journey.  And the town was so hostile that Paul had to make a run for it and got separated from Silas.  In 2 Thessalonians we learn that Paul was already teaching them about How Jesus is coming back before he got ran out of town.  And the topic is so important that Paul wrote them 2 letters to teach them more about Jesus coming back.  1st Thessalonians is about how we should live looking for Jesus coming to get us when He comes as far as the clouds. 2nd Thessalonians focuses on when Jesus comes all the way back 3 1/2 years after open Satan worship is setup in the temple.  They are two different comings for two different reasons.

General Information about 2 Thessalonians

The Theme of the book is Christ’s return.  Specifically when He comes back to judge the nations and setup His millennial reign.
