Phoenix has close to 4 million people in it. The city is 85 miles
long and 50 miles wide. But there is very little true gospel witness.
Phoenix is on the fast track to hell.
I have a burden to put gospel tracks on the doors of homes in this city.
Where you can help is in
prayer. Please pray that God will bring conviction, speak to hearts and
open eyes.
As I have talked to people about putting tracks on doors in Phoenix I have
been SHOCKED by the hardness of people's hearts that call themselves
Christian. So far the worst response that I got was, "What would you
want to do that for? With T.V. everyone has heard the gospel by now."
That is a heart that is far far from God. That is the response of
someone who has very little Bible understanding. And yes as you have
most likely already guessed. That person is a T.B.N. rock-n-roll, cotton
candy preaching, false Bible perversion "Christian." Now I
know that not all of them have this kind of attitude. But many do.
Now before you are too hard on them. Consider all of the messages that
they hear about what they can get. How God can bless their business.
The health and wealth preaching has the wrong focus. It is mostly self
centered. Christianity is about others not you. Christianity is
about what can I give for others; what can I do for others. Not what can
I get. Hello!
What is needed is Christians with a heart for the things of God. A
heart to see souls saved.
