In the Middle of this Barren land is a huge Meteor Crater

The Winslow Crater is too large for my camera.

It is about 4,000 feet across and 550 feet deep. It was around 700 feet deep before erosion

The Meteor that hit here was around 150 feet across

It was traveling around 40,000 miles per hour when it hit.

The explosion caused damage to these rocks. Pieces of the meteor were found 7 miles away

One of the rocks on the rim in this picture is the size of a house.

The floor of the crater is big enough to hold 20 football fields.

If they put stands around it, it could hold about 2 million people.
